Couples usually contact me because they believe that marriage is a spiritual commitment, but they don’t necessarily want to have their ceremony in a “church” setting or they aren’t affiliated with a particular religion. I help couples create a ceremony that supports their personal beliefs and creative style.
Let me do what I do best. If you choose to hire me as your Officiant, you won’t have to worry about my role. You’ll be able to use more of your energy on the rest of the details since there is usually a lot to do! After our initial dialogue, I’ll supply you with a number of ceremonies to choose from. Then you and your partner can cut, paste, and add your own special touches with my help. This is your wedding and I’m here to support your creative process.
I’ve performed all types of weddings from small intimate gatherings to much larger groups in a variety of venues like The Belk Chapel at Queens College, Roof with a View, St. Mary’s Chapel, The Morehead Inn, Stowe Botanical Gardens, Extravaganza, the Uhwarrie vineyards, in a couple’s barn, on the coast of Wilmington, and on a mountain top in Waynesville.
